Teenage suicide is an on-going problem and it needs to come to an end. The severity of such issue is increasing because of people’s ignorant and shame when it comes to discussing about suicidal problems in young people. There are many young teenagers who announce that they are going to kill themselves but their statements are taken lightly or they are accused for begging for attentions. Moreover, “death” has always been a frightening subject for people question or debate over, especially the kind of death due to suicide. People tend to avoid it owing to the fact that teen suicide is viewed as something extremely disgraceful by the society. Along with that, children who either attempted suicide or had already succeed are gossiped about and are seen as kids who crave for attentions. These little actions are considered “normal”, but truth is, they are horrifying. Not wanting to have a chat with suicidal teens about suicide would make them feel as if they are all alone, and that no one cares about them. Additionally, since most of teen suicide involved bullying, not acknowledging teen suicide means letting bullying takes place more because the bullies would not know that they are doing something awfully wrong. It indirectly allows teen suicide to happen even more and eventually, it would just become a common issue that receives no attention. Clearly, the indifference and fears in everyone about teen suicide create and play a part in the problem of teen suicide.
